Oops ... Unfortunately, Lima is a city little or nothing favorable to the observation of these astronomical phenomena. Lima is characterized by having, most of the time (almost all year), the cloudy sky and high humidity, especially in winter.
In Chile and Argentina, the eclipse could be observed fully, literally the day was night for brief minutes. It is still an amazing phenomenon... In India, eclipses have also been observed, perhaps on previous occasions... (?)

Lima, with its humid and cloudy climate, is the nemesis of asthmatics and the terror of rheumatics. There is so much humidity here, that we Limaans do not have lungs, but rather, gills...
The melancholy gray sky of Lima can induce sadness and apathy... But fortunately Lima is big, and has places where the climate is more benevolent than in the city...

ah boil ginger, cinnamon, cloves, aniseed , mint / basil and cardamom and use as base for tea....or just mix with honey when cool (will take care of the lethargy and asthama/rheumatism). Never heat honey. Becomes a toxin.
