Hellow my fellow adventurers

I came across this forum yesterday. I was delighted to find such a thriving community of reading enthusiasts. I have since been stumbling around the forums, discovering lots of new sources and my list of to-read books has grown by 7 already!

However, the sheer restrictive nature of the multiples rules is exhausting . Allegedly, my user status is such that I am not allowed to contribute actively but within the unbending conformity of a structure that is arbitrary.

So as delighted as I am to find my fellow countrymen and their passion for reading and tons of local content, I want to voice my dissent about the bureaucracy of the rules being applied here. I am not new to forums. I am a long-standing member of both demonoid and mobilism, both paragons of forum excellence, but this restriction for newbies is really testing my faith.

Instead of their being a cast system of sorts, why not have punitive measures. So, for example, instead of forcing me change my avatar picture (entirely useless), why not remove and bar new users who do not contribute 10 posts within 10 days or 7 active log sessions?

I recently tried encouraging a fellow poster by giving him some virtual money and I was barred from doing so, even though I have 500 money in my account as a newbie. This minor inconvenience was the final nail in the coffin that made me want to share my disillusioned feelings here .

Hi ... Welcome to CraxMe Forum.

I regret that you have quickly fallen into disillusionment, but perhaps this is due to the ignorance of the multiple adversities that this place has gone through since its inception.
Since its creation, CraxMe Forum  tried to be a fully open site, so much so, that there is no greater difficulty in registering a user account here.
Unfortunately, not all the people registered did so with good intentions, and many malicious accounts quickly started to attack this place. Even recently we had an attack that prevented our good users from downloading normally the contents that are shared here.
CraxMe Forum had the vital need to  face such of defenseless situation, and consequently, certain minimum and basic requirements were established to regulate access to certain sections of the forum, mainly the Reading Room section.
This set of measures has allowed  CraxMe Forum to defend itself from those malicious accounts that do so much damage.
CraxMe Forum is an open but safe place for all its good users. Surely you, when creating an email account, on facebook or twitter, etc., will have observed the myriad of regulations that have established the providers of these services. Many times people create accounts in those services without paying attention to their regulations conditions.
CraxMe Forum also has its own rules of the game, and as you will have seen, compared to the aforementioned services, here the rules and conditions are minimal and basic.
When one freely enters a place, one  has to be able to accept the rules of the game of that place.
CraxMe Forum will not give up its right to protect itself or its duty to make this place an open and safe place for its good users.
CraxMe Forum is a young and small place that subsists thanks to the activity and participation of all its good users.
All the rules and conditions set forth herein have a valid and reasonable justification, and have been thoroughly studied and evaluated.
