Can go for TATA Nexon. Petrol variant starts at Rs. 6.16 lakh and goes upto Rs. 9.62 lakh while the diesel one starts at Rs. 7.19 lakh and the top-end is priced at Rs. 10.59 lakh.

Apart from the usual features, it has a remarkable safety record. Marked four star in Global NCAP tests which is probably best in class in India.

Understand from reviews that new Honda Amaze has few following issues;

The car has pick up/acceleration issue and loses all power when road is steep, especially when you try to accelerate on a steep road after braking. It loses its power to an extent that sometimes it stops.
The car vibrates a lot while reversing.
Poor average ? the car is giving an average of 13-13.5 on highways.
There is noise coming probably from shockers when car goes into a little deep jerking, and/or on speed breakers
