I think there should be option to like a comment just like facebook. That way we can show support for that comment without replying.
Because when more comments are given admins close down that thread for 'flooding'.
Admins please consider it.

The reason for which it has been decided to remove the "like" option from the threads, is because the threads rise to the top of the list of threads, regardless of whether those threads are very old, which often causes confusion in the users, who believe that those threads (at the beginning of the list of threads) are new threads or that they contain new additions.
If you wish to express your gratitude or that you like some thread or post, you can do so by granting a rate in favor of the user, that is the best way to thank the contributions of the users.
