Evading The Shadows
I started the book with lots of hope and in the end am partially disappointed.
The premise with which the book started is actually really exciting and intriguing. I mean you start witha thought yes, this is something that must have definitely happened. And wonder why have I not thought about this before...
The story line is nice. The flow is also reasonably good. The characterisation of the main protagonist or rather the antagonist is sketchy and rickety reasons for his revenge. The story depends on lots of so called coincidences and flimsy developments.
Few places the author has used the same phrases again and again or at the most paraphrased the same sentences. The end also doesn't go down well. Some places where the author was able to justify situations or couldn't come up with a plausible reason for certain events he's gone almost paranormal...
I would really say it is a wonderful book which keeps a lot of promises unfilfilled. Maybe shoddy editing and couple of printing errors don't help to the cause.
I will give the book a 6.5/ 10 and lot of it for the original brilliant premise on which the whole story is built
