Because, there are a few times when my 'thank you' and such posts were alarmed and deleted by mods.
So I am confused whehter I say thank you and such stuff to people who left nice comments on my posts.

If I don't do so, i feel I am being rude to them that I don't even revert back on their complements.

The best way to thank, within the Reading Room section, is through the rate concession.
"Thanks" and simple or basic answers and comments are not allowed. However, you can write a commentary based on the reading that you have made of the book, a review or publish some relevant information about the book and its author.
The purpose of this rule is to avoid that the threads are flooded by such comments that do not provide any additional and relevant information that enriches the content of the thread. Also, when a thread is flooded with that kind of answers, the threads lose consistency in the continuity of future additions of books, making it difficult to read the thread.
If you wish to comment on a book that has been shared in the Reading Room section and exchange ideas and opinions with other users about that book, the appropriate space to do so is in the Readers Club. It is in the Readers Club where you have all the space and aptitude to express your opinions and to converse.

This clearly needs to be borne in mind for future. Thanks for the clarification as always.
